Oricon Style 8.18.2008 - 8.25.2008 Translation

this is just the translation of one of the Arashi pages. i did this quite a while ago for practicing my japanese but i forgot to put it up...there's also a super long group talk and individual Q&A in that issue of oricon style, which i didn't translate. i also didn't translate this word for word. i guessed on some parts, so please forgive any of my mistakes. somebody probably has a much better translation for this.

When do you give your best smile?

 

Sunny day. In the morning, I wake up and if the weather is good, I become happy. However, I often laugh normally, and I laugh out loud when I watch TV alone. That’s a bit embarrassing ne. (laugh)

 

It has to be the time when I go fishing. Especially, it’s best when the fish that I caught goes into the net. I can’t bear it. When I do things that I like, really, I can only think that way. I’m worried. (laugh)
 

It’s good to smile reguarly. (laugh) Compared to the others, maybe I don’t give my best smile as often. Also, I’m the type whose feelings and expressions aren’t very consistent, even I don’t really know when I’m going to smile. I want others to tell me when I’m smiling.

 

It should be when it’s the most fun. Like when I’m doing concerts or eating with my friends casually, it’s fun. More than the feeling of achievement, I guess the point depends more on who, where, and what I’m doing.

 

We’re having our Around Asia 2008 tour and concert at Kokuritsu, so I think it has to be when I’m doing concerts, I give my best smile. I have fun myself, and I feel happy when I see the audience have fun. Concerts are the most fun ne.
